'Come one come all and prepare to be awed. The time has come to light the night!'

Picking up his a smoldering punk the gleeman prepared to light the first wick.
With a woosh. The sky filled with a dazzling bright light. Lady Innloine could be
heard in the distance saying,'Ah, this may have been worth the wait.'




Just as the light began to die from the white fireworks sparks began to pour up
from the earth, accompanied by loud shrieks and crackles.




The fountain seemed to widen and the colors held within the fire began to pulsate
and oscillate. Red became green became blue followed by gold only to start the
sequence all over again. All this was accompanied by a shrill squeals from the
fire, nearly matched by the cheers and squeals coming from the crowd.



Across the lake a second barrage of fire seemed to appear from boats that were
floating on the surface. While distant, they provided a distinct hiss and a slight
smell of sulfur to touched the air.



The lights in the sky began again and the earth seemed to tremble with the
concussions wrought each time a new flare appeared in the air.



At once night became day. The sound, smoke, fire, and smell filled the air. Many
of the onlookers covered their eyes or moved their gaze closer to the ground as to
avoid the discomfort of the dizzying brightness of the light.



And then it was gone. The quiet seemed to rush back in on the crowd. For a moment
no one moved. Then night became day. Fountains and streaks of fire filled the
skys. A cacophany of sound came from all directions.



The show continued on until morning.
