This generous foyer has a polished redwood floor. A large door to the
south leads back toward the courtyard ornately bannistered stairs lead up to
the rest of the house. Several works of art stand on pedestals
around the room. One pedestal in particular catches your eye.

An auctioneer stands here ready to take your bid.


An auctioneer says,'Up for bid this evening we have THE foxhead medallion. Recovered from the royal library three days hence, this item has sat in storage waiting on your bid. You are welcome to take a look if you like.'

An Auctioneer looks at you expectantly.

The Foxhead Medallion, hm? I have heard rumors of this, but who knows if it really does what they claim.

And if I might ask, what is with the glass of what appears to be wine on the pedestal, and what looks to be a rose on the floor?

Weir, I assure you that it is the genuine article. I found it personally in the library a few days ago.

As to the rose and wine, Lady Innloine is welcomed to her tastes.

Looking over the item, Dare picks his words carefully, "Not be to rude. But how can you know for sure that this is THE foxhead?

"I'm guessing that she cannot know for sure, but it does appear to be the foxhead. No one can really be sure..." Dura pauses momentarily to sip at his glass of wine, which he then places on the pedestal. "Seems to add a bit of class to the room," he murmurs prior to giggling incessantly as he heads out.
